This was my very first bottle transformation project:

Then I also altered two deodorant bottles as well... Don't worry it won't explode, I used completely empty bottles and I also drill small hole on the bottom part to remove excess gas from the bottle

This one is my absolute favorite project 😍😍

••• Mixed media Altered bottle •••

Hello my Arty and crafty friends, This is Archana here, Today I come up with super simple Mixed media Altered bottle using Craftyscrappers chalk paint, stencil and the fabulous shimmer paste.

Step by step Making Process:

  1. I took empty deodorant bottle, glued bottle cap so that it won’t get opened and applied “Greasy Charcoal” chalk paint using palette knife. (Using palette knife to apply paint is one of my favorite way to create texture).
  2. I wrapped stencil called “Geometrical patterns” around the bottle and secure the stencil edges using masking tape.
  3. I used Craftyscrappers shimmer paste “Jet” to create texture through stencil and also applied this paste on empty spaces of bottle just to put everything together.
  4. Glued down metal leaves and wrapped thread around the bottle cap & also added metal handle.
  5. Covered these added embellishment using “Greasy charcoal” chalk paint and added “Jet” shimmer paste.
  6. After it dries I highlighted this bottle using Gesso, (Best way to pop out the elements which  added in project)
  7. Finally seal this bottle using Fixative spray.
And Taaaaa-Daaaa !!! There you go, we finish this beautiful piece.. Here are some more pictures of this Bottle..

••• Mixed Media Scrapbook layout •••

Hello and welcome everyone, This is Archana here, Today I come up with super simple yet beautiful scrapbook layout using craftyscrappers products, so without wasting further time lets get started….
Unfortunately I haven't record the making process but I have tried to explain step by step process, So this is what we are going to create today :

Brief tutorial:

  1. I took 320 GSM watercolor paper and sprayed using Craftyscrappers "Rusty Denim" and "Sweet Sunshine" randomly, not covering whole page as you can see in final image.
  2. Then I took multiple stamps from stamp set called “Hello” and stamped the images using black ink pad. I stamped those swirly images first so that little amount of those stamped images will stay behind the layers which I am going to add further.
  3. Next I took round doily and also took 4 circle cutouts of paper, I colored those circles with Craftyscrappers “Rusty denim” and placed behind the actual images forming a composition. After placing I used black color here and there to give little depth.
  4. I took white paper and tore down the edges and distress them using black ink pad and brown ink pad, and placed beneath the photo & added sky blue resin frame to give finished look.
  5. To put everything together I stamped dotted pattern stamp around the composition, for this I used “INSPIRE” stamp set.

Voila!!! Our mixed media scrapbook layout is complete.

here are some close- up pictures  of this layout:

Hope you guys have enjoyed this making process,

••• Mixed Media recycled cardboard rolls •••

Welcome everyone !!!, This is Archana here, today I have come up with super simple home décor project using Craftyscrappers products...

 Step by Step Tutorial:

  1. I took three small size cardboard roll and glue them together.
  2. Next I added cotton cloth using PVA glue, To create more texture on the surface   I also added some thread.
  3. After it dries completely, I glue down some jewelry pieces, and to put everything together I glue down some art stones and micro beads.
  4. To prime the project I decided to use chalk paint instead of gesso… the shade I used here is called hazy cucumber. ( I just love the way chalk paint gives colored matt finish and at the same time primes the surface nicely and smoothly )
  5. To give little bit of depth around the object I used shimmer spray “Dancing Peacock” from craftyscrappers.
  6. Next for focal point I added chipboard cutout… here I used fairy and covered this cutout using Craftyscrappers shimmer paste “Sweet Pumpkin” and then glue down that chipboard cutout on to the project.
  7. To finish the project I used sentiment from stamp set called “Inspire”.
  8. I highlighted project with gesso using dry brush technique
Here are some close up pictures of this project:

••• Mixed Media Altered CD •••

Hello My Crafty Friends, This is Archana here, today I come up with super simple yet beautiful Mixed Media Project i.e. Altered CD using this month’s released stamp-set called "Grunge Gears Background",

So this is what we are going to create today :

Step by step pictorial tutorial:

Step One:
To create background I stamped Image from stamp-set called "Grunge Gears Background", Its an amazing stamp set one should have in there stamp collection, I stamped image on white premium card-stock from Craftyscrappers, Again another must have product, the cardstock is matt finish so any stamping image or sprays goes really well with it.. This is how it looks :

Step Two:
I glued down this stamp image on CD and colored it using Craftyscrappers Shimmer sprays "Muddy Pool"

Step Three:
Next I ripped some corrugated cardboard, also color it with same shimmer spray, apply some silver embossing powder & heat set it, I also distress the edges with black ink pad.

Step four:
I made circle using thin silver wire, I glue down corrugated cardboard on CD and then placed circle wrapped wire on it. I also added some shaker elements from Craftyscrappers called " Midnight Party", Next I took pieces of skewer stick and metal butterflies & colored it using black acrylic as you see in image below:

Step five:
I glued down all the elements on the CD using PVA glue and to give shimmer and sparkle I apply Shimmer paint metallic lustre "Bronze" using dry brush technique. Next I used dotted pattern stamp from stamp set called "INSPIRE” and apply some bronze embossing powder and heat set it to combine everything together. I also fuzzy cut sentiment from the same background stamp set and apply silver embossing powder and heat set it.

Step six:
I glued down the sentiment  to the project and to lift those sentiments bit upwards I glue down some cardboard pieces behind the image and paste that on project, you can used double sided foam tape for this process too, I also added silver pearls and distress the whole project using black ink pad and  Taaaaa-Daaaa, this is final look of the finished Project.

••• Mixed Media on circular panel •••

Hello My Arty and Crafty Friends, This is Archana Here, Hope you all are doing great, As promised, I am back with another mixed media project, So without wasting time lets jump into the step by step process.

This is what we are going to create today

Step 1
I took simple plastic circle shape to work on, and paste corrugated cardboard on it to give more strength as well as more dimensional look

Step 2
Next I added few cloth tags randomly, Cloth tags are super awesome to create layers, so next time when you purchase something don't throw those tags away ;-) and prime the surface using gesso.

Step 3
I stamped the image from Craftyscrappers stamp set called "Beautiful" on watercolor paper & spread bronze embossing powder and then heat emboss it, I also colored the circle panel using Shimmer sprays " Muddy pool " & "Sweet Sunshine" I personally love this stamp set a lot and its great to use as a focal point for tag, cards or any kind of mixed media project.

Step 4
To give some sparkly look I added shimmer paste "Tinted Gold" using palette knife, I love the way shimmer paste add dimension as well as sparkle to the project :-)

Step 5
I placed the stamped image and added some thread behind it. I also added some bronze embossing powder on the top part of panel and heat set it just to add more sparkly look.

Step 6
Last but not the least I created some glue dots using heat gun and after it dries completely I colored them using bronze acrylic color & finish this project by adding little amount of black color splatters.

Here are some close up pictures of this project
