••• Mixed Media Fridge Magnets •••

Hello everyone, This is Archana here
Hope you guys are doing great, Today I am going to share another mixed media project that is Fridge magnets,
So this is what I have created :

List of Supplies :
2 Heart  shaped MDF cutouts
Texture paste
Stencil
Expressions Craft Chipboard and some chipboard frames from my stash
Immix's Chalk Paint : Tortilla, Dusty Lavender, Glacier lava grey, Maya blue
Immix's Sprinkle mist : Persimmon, Royal blue
Immix's Metallic paint : Ancient gold
White Gesso
Step by Step Process:
  1. I took two heart shaped MDF cutouts and spread texture paste through Expressions Craft stencil.
  2. Once the texture dries completely, I adhere Expressions craft chipboard, epoxy clay castings, some metal embellishment and Deco stones (mixed size). I arranged all this things forming a composition.
  3. Next I covered one MDF with Immix’s chalk paint “Tortilla” and  “Dusty Lavender”, and for another one I used “Glacier Lava Grey” and “Maya Blue”.
  4. To add depth I sprayed Immix’s Sprinkle mist called “Persimmon” on one mdf and for another I Used “Royal blue” These are perfectly pigmented sprays and added beautiful depth to my project which I wanted.
  5. Next to add shine I applied Immix’s metallic paint “Ancient gold” but I was not convinced the look I got here so I went ahead and applied white gesso at some places using dry brush technique again.
  6. I finished this project by adding sentiment and magnet behind the MDF

••• Mixed Media Altered MDF Panel •••

Hey guys welcome back, This is Archana here,
I have created this card for LeAnn's world 101 I just love the way this card turns out to be.. I used Flower girl digital stamp from LeAnn's world 101.. so this is what I created :

To create this Mixed media altered art I took MDF board and applied grey shade chalk paint and kept it aside to dry.. Next I colored the Digi image from Leann's World 101 using diluted acrylic paint and tear down the excess paper...

Then on a mdf board I Pasted the image and applied crackle medium on rest area,Next I apply bluish shade chalk paint over it, So this way I got very nice little little cracks on the board..

I was not happy the way its looking so I went ahead and applied Dazzle paste through stencil and also applied dark bluish shading around the image and around the board edges...

Next to finish this project I added mdf letters, for this I first embossed them and then glued them on board...

And voillaaaaaa !!! Our super simple mixed media altered board is ready....

••• Mixed media wall hanging •••

Hey guys welcome back, This is Archana here,
Today I come up with another super simple mixed media wall hanging, This is also my DT project for Cute N Crafty Christmas blog

To make this super simple mixed media panel, First of all prime the surface and for that I have used white white Gesso.  Once gesso dried completely I have sprayed Shimmer spray.. for this process I have sprayed on the top portion of the board and then tiled the project little bit so that color flow to the downwards and will have nice blended look. This step really creates beautiful watercolor effect....

To create snow fall like effect I mixed micro beads into texture paste and apply it on upper part of Board vertically using palate knife and also applied on bottom part of board.. Next I color it using same shimmer spray shade...

Next for the focal point of this project, I digi image from Hatty clare and colored it using diluted acrylic paints... To place the image I, first glued down coconut fiber and then pasted the fussy cut image on it.

No Christmas themed project is complete without glitter, so I added Craftyscrappers shimmer paste using palate knife.. To finish the project I added one sentiment...

Here are few more images of this Project:

••• Mixed media wall hanging •••

Hello all!! Welcome everyone, this is Archana here, today I have come up with super simple home décor project using Craftyscrappers products, before starting lets have a quick look on supplies I used to make this project.

List of supplies:
Rectangle wooden plank / Cardboard / MDF board
Craftyscrappers chalk paint “Icy Marine”
Craftyscrappers shimmer spray (Rusty Denim)
Shimmer paint (Bronze metallic luster)
Embellishments: Flat back stones, Star shaped cutout, Micro beads,
Ballet dancing girl as a focal point

Step by step Tutorial:

1.     First of all prime the surface and for that I have used Chalk paint to do so, I have used Icy marine shade.
2.     Once paint dries completely, I started building composition, I glued down Star shaped cutout and around that I have glued flat back stones, to fill the empty space and make composition more interesting I have pasted micro beads.
3.     For the focal point I choose to add Ballet dancing girl, and covered entire project using Chalk paint ( Icy Marine ) again. This will prime the project and also add chalky  matt finish.
4.     To give depth I sprayed Craftyscrappers Shimmer spray (Rusty Denim)
