••• Mixed Media Tag for Absolutely Beginners •••

Hello, and welcome back,

Hope you guys are doing great, today i come up with mixed media tag for absolutely beginners...

Okay so lets get started,

I took Packaging cardboard and made cut-out of tag of 5 inches by 3 inches and glue down broken brush head on it.

Then I paste metal butterfly just to hide broken part of brush and also added sea-shells, art stones and micro beads.  (Seed beads, micro beads, art stone works as a filler)

  

In this step I covered entire tag with gesso and after gesso dries completely I colored the tag using "Tasty Tortilla" and "Muddy Pool” shimmer sprays.

 

 

I used gesso again just to add highlight little bit, in this step I took very little amount of gesso on dry brush and apply so that dimensional elements get highlighted.

Distress the edges and then added Shimmer paste using pallet knife. Stamped sayings from “INSPIRE” stamp set and finished this tag.

And Taaaa-Daaaaaaa!!! There you go, we finish this beautiful tag…

••• Mixed Media on Popsicle Sticks for beginners •••

Hello Everyone, This is Archana Here, Hope you guys are doing great,

I am super excited today to be here and share this project 👇with you all, which I made few days back, but forgot to post here on blog😋 i was super busy making other projects, some new paintings and so on....

Here i would love to share my new creation that is mixed media on Popsicle sticks, i just love working on this project, if you are new to mixed media then this project is awesome to start with as this project is super easy to make....

First I made this type of layout 👇using Popsicle sticks...

In next step I added  chipboard frame, mini brushes and metal embellishment as you can in below picture

After everything dries completely I covered entire project using black acrylic colors and colored using different shades of pearl acrylic colors

 And after highlighting with gesso and gold yellow pearl acrylics, I complete my project..
