••• Mixed Media tag •••

Hey guys welcome back, This is Archana here,
I am back with another DT inspiration project for Scrapping4funchallenges, For challenge 146 "AG + Stitching"


I have created this project using Digi sponsored by Ericraft stamps


To create this tag I took thick cardboard piece, cut it into tag shape and colored the tag using light and dark blue acrylic colors...

Next I spread some glitter paste onto the tag and also added few sequins in to it and kept it aside to dry, in meanwhile I colored the digi image and also colored the chipboard tree using metallic paint, I used palate knife to spread the metallic paint on to the chipboard tree to have little bit texture...

I glued down the chipboard tree on to the tag and also glued fussy cut digi image, Next I finished this tag by adding few flat back stones...

••• Mixed Media Card •••

Hello and Welcome everyone,
This is Archana here,
Today I am going to share another simple yet elegant mixed media card and this is also my DT project for Cute N Crafty


To make this card I first took blank white cardstock and colored it using blue spray (Dye based), Next I applied glitter paste using stencil and also spread some paste using fingers, To add more interest I also pasted some thread on the card layout...

I colored the digi image using diluted acrylic paints, fussy cut the image and placed it on card layout, Next I finished this card by adding sentiment and placed this card layout on card base..

And!! voila our card is ready, Here are some more images of this card:

••• Mixed Media Card using Biker Chic - Digital Stamp •••

Hey guys welcome back, This is Archana here,
I am back with another DT inspiration project for LeAnn's World 101 .. This is what I have created using Digital image Biker Chic Digital Stamp


To create this card I took pattered paper which has gears based design on it and inked the edges using brownish shade ink pad, Next I colored the digi image using diluted acrylic paint and fussy cut it..

To enhance the look I first glued wooden gears on the card layout and also glued down gauze and then placed the fussy cut image on it, I used cardboard pieces behind the image to give dimensional look...

I placed this card layout on card base and finished this card by adding sentiment and flat back stones & pearls.

••• Mixed Media Christmas Card •••

Hey guys welcome back, This is Archana here,
Today I come up with another super simple mixed media card, This is also my DT project for Cute N Crafty Christmas blog 

To make this card I first took blank white cardstock and colored it using blue spray (Dye based), Next I applied glitter paste using stencil and also spread some paste using fingers...

••• Mixed Media Card Floral Card •••

Hey guys welcome back, This is Archana here,
I am back with another DT inspiration project for Scrapping4funchallenges, For challenge145 "Tic Tac Toe"
I have created this project using Digi sponsored by SheepSki Designs... According to the challenge we must create project using one row like horizontally, vertically or diagonally referring to above picture, So here I used Stripes, Ribbon and Embellishment..


To create this card I first took patterned paper and distressed the edges using red shade ink pad.. Then I glue down fabric lace and some scrap paper stripes using cardboard, I have also distressed each scrap paper piece using brownish shade ink pad..

Next I colored the digi image using diluted acrylic paint, fussy cut it and placed it on the scrap paper layout, To enhance the card look bit more I added handmade paper flowers and some thread underneath the flowers...

I finished this card by adding flat back stones and placed this layout on card base..

••• Mixed Media Mini Canvas •••

Hello everyone, This is Archana here
Hope you guys are doing great, Today I am going to share another mixed media project using Expressions Craft newly launch product "Chroma Burst".. We had amazing live session at Expressions Craft Facebook page, In case if you guys have missed then do check out on page,So moving on to the project this is what I have created :

 To create this super simple mini canvas I made paper clay casting and adhere it on the canvas and to add more interest I added clear micro beads and Deco stones.. Once its dries completely this is how it looks :


Next I applied white gesso and colored the project using amazing Chroma burst, here I used "Tea cup teal", "Fresh water" and for adding little bit shading I used "Black gamma".

To highlight the dimensional part I applied white gesso using dry brush technique..


And Voillaaa!!!! Our super simple mixed media mini canvas is ready...

••• Mixed Media card for LeAnns World 101 •••

Hey guys welcome back, This is Archana here,
I have created this card for LeAnn's world 101 I just love the way this card turns out to be.. I used Annette Digital Stamp from LeAnn's world 101.. so this is what I created :


To create this card first I took patterned paper and inked the edges in bluish shade, I also took chipboard frame and colored it using same colored ink pad and placed it on pattered paper using double side foam tape..

Next I apply some glitter paste and sequins around the bottom part of frame, I colored the digi image using diluted acrylic paints, fussy cut it and placed it on the layout, 

To enhance the card I glue down some flat back pearls and sentiment, Next I placed this card on card base and our card is ready...

••• Mixed Media Butterfly Tag •••

Hey guys, Welcome back to my blog,
This is Archana here
I have created this mixed media tag for The Creative Crafters ...



On a blank cardboard tag I sprayed shimmer spray and next I took another small cardboard and
Spread  shimmer paste on ATC’s using Geometrical pattern stencil...

I took cardboard butterfly shape and covered it using shimmer paste  ( I wanted to make this tag glittery so I used lots of shimmer paste ) Next, I made circle using thin metal wire and glue it on the cardboard piece and also glued down butterfly over it ...  

To add more sparkle I added shakers elements using pva glue (as you can see in the final picture)..  I glued down this small cardboard piece on to the tag and spread same color shimmer paste around it.. this will create a balance and also it will look combined or put everything together...

••• Super Simple Mixed Media Card •••

Hello and Welcome everyone,
This is Archana here,
Today I am going to share another simple yet elegant mixed media card and this is also my DT project for Not Just Cards


To start with I took few coordinated scrap papers which was left from my previous projects, To give finished look to the scrap papers I inked the edges using yellow shade ink-pad, Next I placed all this papers on black card-stock forming a composition..

To add texture on the card I took fruit bag mesh and colored it using blue acrylic paint, then I glued it on card layout and also pasted beautiful girl image as a focal point... I also added few deco stones on the card and placed this card layout on the card base and finished this card by adding a sentiment..

••• Mixed Media ATC •••

Hey guys welcome back, This is Archana here,
Today I come up with another super simple mixed media ATC (Artist Trading Card ) card,This is also my DT project for Happy Craft Challenges..


To make this card I first created texture using shimmer paste and stencil, and left it aside to dry, meanwhile I applied chalk paint using palate knife on a chipboard fairy embellishment, Once the paste dries complete I applied orange metallic paint on card and glued down fairy on it..

Next I finished this super simple card by adding sentiment over burlap tape and flat back pearls...

••• Mixed Media Travel theme card •••

Hey guys welcome back, This is Archana here,
I am back with another DT inspiration project for Scrapping4funchallenges, For challenge number 144 "Holiday/Travel"


I have created this project using Digi sponsored by All Dressed up



To Create this super simple and easy card I took coordinating pattered papers and distress the edges using ink pad and sponge dauber, This will give the papers finishing and aged look..

Next I adhere square shaped designer papers and also ink the edges using same inkpad and to create depth in each layer I glued down cardboard pieces, this will create dimensional look..

I colored the digital stamp image using diluted acrylic paints and also fussy cut the image. Next I adhere the image on to the card layout (I also used cardboard pieces behind the image to pop out the stamp image).

Added one sentiment to complete the card and placed this layout on card base..
