••• Mixed Media on Triangle Canvas •••

Recently my hubby gifted me triangular and round shape canvases, he want me to work on something that i am not comfortable with,  basically he is the one who challenge me always and nourish my creative soul πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‰ 100 PAINTINGS CHALLENGE is one of the huge challenge which he gave me and i am still working on it πŸ˜€

So i decided that i will create mixed media art on triangle canvas, i somehow imagine that it will look awesome if i give it a try...

I choose to create mixed media because what i like about mixed media art is that, this technique is very flexible which allow to go with the flow and you can use anything almost from recycle things to store brought embellishment, like here you can see i used jigsaw pieces which i had with me

I also used Popsicle sticks, seashells, beads, thread, MDF clock die-cut and much more

Here are some close-up pics of my project

••• Abstract Buddha Painting •••

Hello, and welcome back,

Hope you guys are doing great, Today i am going to share Abstract Buddha painting with you all and  source of inspiration behind thisπŸ‘‡ painting

Few days back i brought four statues of Buddha, this oneπŸ‘‡ is one of them, i like this one a lot because its sitting position and and how beautifully it is sculpted....

I have strong belief in Buddha and his thoughts, it motivates me a lot, Buddha statues or paintings purify the mind, builds up the serenity within oneself and motivates to overcome the negativity, hence uplifting the mind and focusing the attention on the reality of the materialistic world....

By simply viewing Buddha statue or painting ultimately helps you to focus in meditation and connect you to your higher self...

Till now i have only painted Buddha's face, so i have decided to paint this complete statue in my style of painting, you can watch complete process of this painting from start to finish on my YouTube channel

••• Mixed Media on Cardboard •••

Its my favourite because its in pallet shape and another thing is i used my very old brush which i kept and don’t want to throw them away (LOL i am very possessive about my brushes no matter they are old or new  πŸ˜‰)

Sometimes it happens with me that i bogged down with daily routine work and don’t even realized that i haven’t create anything that day. My creative desire remain unanswered, not because i didn’t create but the fact that i didn’t take out time to create.. so i tried to make this project so that whenever i look at this it reminds me to create something or paint something or just a simple sketch or doodle….

Also i wanted to tell you guys, that to make this kind of project, you don’t need much things, just dig into your stash and create with whatever you have with you or found in your stash…
I have created video on this project Click Here
