Mixed Media Scrapbook Layout

Hello everyone,
This is Archana here, Today I came up with mixed media layout, so without wasting time let's get started....

This is what I have created:

To create this layout, first I took a patterned paper sheet from Dress my craft  paper pad and covered it using clear gesso, to create background I added stenciled texture..

Next I took two co-ordinating pattern paper from same paper pad and tear it down to add interesting torn pattern and also distressed the edges using ink pad..

Once that done, on a background sheet I added sprinkle mist to coloured stenciled texture and glued those two pattern papers cutout on the background to add layers..

I adhered burlap sheet, and placed baby picture on it... Added a wooden frame to enhance the baby picture and also glued fussy cut flowers.. Next I added some black ink splatters and a sentiment to finish the layout.

Here are some more close up pictures of this layout:

Mixed Media Altered Box

Hello Everyone,
This is Archana here,
Today I have another mixed media project for you all, I have altered MDF box, so lets get started:

 Supplies used:
MDF Box
Immix Ground Texture Paste
Expressions Craft chipboards Gear
Immix Chalk Paint
Immix Metallic Paints
Metal embellishment

On a MDF box I spread Immix ground texture paste using palate knife randomly, I have covered box's side.. Next I adhere expressions craft chipboard embellishment as well as negative chipboard on the box forming a random composition and for focal point I also adhere circle shaped chipboard..

Once I am happy with the composition I have covered entire box using Immix chalk paint, so here I instead of gesso I used chalk paint because chalk paint also works as primer too.. I really love the combination of these both chalk paints... to give highlight I used Immix metallic paints, First I applied "Purple Affair" paint using dry brush technique and then I used "Holiday Gold" again using same technique..

Next I colored Metal embellishment using same metallic paint shade, I also stamped sentiment and glued it on circle chipboard and then also adhere metal embellishment, and here is the final look...

Mixed Media Triangular Canvas

Hey guys, Welcome back, This is Archana here, and I am back with another super simple Mixed media triangular canvas , so lets get started...

This is what I have created

So lets get started, To start with I first glued down my focal point that is Buddha casting, for gluing all my embellishments I used Immix gel medium gloss, and to create texture (spread using palate knife) on the canvas I used Immix newly launched ground texture paste "Natural Desert", "Mud brown" I also arrange some seashells, soda bottle caps, deco stones too.

Next I covered entire canvas using Immix white gesso and also used crackle texture paste

To color the canvas I used another amazing product Immix chroma Burst, I choose 4 shades here, namely "Fresh Water", "Tea Cup Teal", "Woodland Bay", "Blue Lagoon".. I just sprinkle this shades on to the canvas and sprayed some water to get them activated, This way  I got nice blended look...

Once its dries completely I applied Immix white gesso using dry brush technique, This step will highlight the dimensional part or textural part of canvas.
