To start with I took few coordinated scrap papers which was left from my previous projects, To give finished look to the scrap papers I inked the edges using brownish shade ink-pad, Next I placed all this papers on black card-stock forming a composition..

Next I stamped image on white card stock, colored it using diluted acrylic paints, Next I placed gauze on the card just to add more interest and then I placed fussy cut image on it..

I finished this card by adding sentiment...

••• Mixed Media Motivational card •••

Hello and Welcome everyone,
This is Archana here,
Today I am going to share another simple yet elegant mixed media card and this is also my DT project for Not Just Cards

To make this card I choose pattern paper which has dream catcher design on it, and inked the edges using bluish shade ink pad, Next I glue some scrap paper cutting on the card layout, for this paper cutting I distress the edges using same color ink pad as well and also glue circle die cut design..

For the focal point I decided to go with chipboard saying, for this first I colored the chipboard and adhere it on black cardstock, and fussy cut it...

Next I glued this chipboard saying on the card and placed this card layout on the card base, I finished this card by adding flat back pearls..

Here are few more images of this card :
