••• Mixed Media Card for Classic DT Open Challenge •••

Hey guys, Welcome back to my blog,
This is Archana here
I have created this mixed media card for Classic DT Open Challenge

To make this card I took patterned paper card base and adhere two coordinating vertical stripes in the middle of card next I also added burlap lace and some cheese cloth..

I colored the digi image from Fred She Said using colored pencils and fussy cut it and glued this image, also added few flat back pearls and Voillllaa !! this super simple card is ready...

To make this card I took Embossed patterned paper, I love this paper pattern and I didn't want to ruin it so I just glued cheese cloth and placed this beautiful digi stamps from Ching-Chou Kuik, I colored this image gel pen and then fussy cut it..

Next I added flat back pearls and this simple card is ready

••• Mixed Media card •••

Hey guys, Welcome back to my blog,
This is Archana here
I have created this mixed media card for Classic DT Open Challenge

 

To Create this super simple and easy card I took coordinating pattered papers and distress the edges using ink pad and sponge dauber,  I placed this papers on card base forming a random composition, 

I colored the digital stamp image using diluted acrylic paints and also fussy cut the image. Next I adhere cheese cloth and the image on to the card layout (I also used cardboard pieces behind the image to pop out the stamp image).

Added one sentiment and flat back pearls to complete the card and placed this layout on card base..

••• Mixed media tag •••

Hey guys welcome back,
This is Archana here, I am back with another DT project for Classic DT Open Challenge

On a blank tag I created texture using stencil and Immix ground texture paste, once its dries completely I colored the tag using bluish shade of dye based ink spray...

I adhere scrap piece onto the tag and underneath I also added gauze... I colored the digi stamp from PolkaDoodles using diluted acrylic paints...

Next I added shimmer paste using palate knife only downside of tag and at the same time I added shells and deco stones so that shimmer paste will hold those shells and deco stones nicely..

I added mesh bag cutouts and then  pasted colored digi image on to tag, I finished this tag by adding sentiment...

••• Mixed Media card "Music"•••

Hey guys, Welcome back to my blog,
This is Archana here
I have created this mixed media card for Classic DT Open Challenge

To create this card I choose pattern paper and distress the edges using brownish shade ink pad, and I also took small piece of leftover scrap paper, distress the edges using same ink pad and adhere it on card layout using cardboard piece to give dimensional look...

Next I colored the digi image using diluted acrylic paint, fussy cut it and adhere it on card layout, added sentiment, To enhance it little bit more I added gauze behind the sentiment, And finished this card by adding cabochons..

Next I placed this card on card base and our card is ready...

Hey guys, Welcome back to my blog,
This is Archana here
I have created this mixed media tag for Classic DT Open Challenge

To create this tag I first took cardboard tag and colored it using bluish shade spray ink, Next I took another smaller tag than previous one and on that to create texture I mixed some mica flakes in texture paste and spread it on tag using stencil, I really love the look here on the tag..

After the texture dries completely I colored this smaller tag with lighter shade of ink spray, Next I colored the digi image using diluted acrylic paints, Fussy cut it and placed it on the tag, I also added some thread to add more interest to the tag..

Next I finished this tag by adding sentiment and few flat back stone and Voilllaaa!! our mixed media tag is ready...
