••• Mixed Media Floral tags •••

Hello and welcome everyone, This is Archana here,
I have created these tags few days back, These tags are super simple and easy to make, So let’s get started,

Step by step tutorial:

  • I took two blank cardboard tags and spread texture paste on one tag using designer stencil and for another one I have decided to use craftyscrappers layered stencil “Layered Buddha”.
  • Once the texture paste dries completely, I took corrugated cardboard piece and glued it on to the tag.
  • I also wrapped thick thread around the tag, and covered entire tag using white gesso.
  • Next I stamped image from Craftyscrappers stamp set called “Thanks-Sketchy” and colored it using diluted acrylic paints.
  • To color the tag i have used craftyscrappers shimmer sprays called “Sour eggplant” and “Tickled cheeks”, and I also added clear glitter on the stamped flowers only.
  • Placed fussy cut floral image on tag and highlight the dimensional parts of tag using white gesso.
  • To finish the tag I have used sentiment from the same stamp set and our first tag is ready....
  • For second tag, I used layered stencil of Buddha, and I want it in dimensional look so I covered each layer using texture paste.
  • To color the tag I used shimmer sprays from craftyscrappers and the shade names are "Rusty Denim" and "Ocean Waves".
  • Next I again took same stamped floral image and colored it diluted acrylics.
  • To pop out the Buddha little bit I have done some highlighting using white gesso and next placed the fussy cut floral image on to the tag.
  • For more detailing I glued some micro beads.. and also added white color splatters to finish the tag.
